Oh piddly plop plop

mmmm a 2lb gain.....mind you I feel dead bloated so maybe its a blip.

Anyway I said I would be honest and this would help keep me going. So I am not going to let a gain get me down so what can I do to boost my morale....... Maybe a cunning plan would help

So what s the plan for this week....well this weight loss lark isn't rocket science so lets see what Giggles is gonna do this week......

This weeks plan..........

  • Eat 3 sensible meals a day....I told you its not rocket science....

  • Snack only when hungry and then have a glass of water first and then only have fruit...NOTE TO SELF avoid choccy tin and biscuit drawer at work.

  • Plan to do something active every day...but think small and achievable rather than major and fail...... so lets think - *Wed - hoover house *Thurs - walk to local shop *Fri - 15 mins on trampoline prior to going to cinema *Sat -go for a swim *Sun - go to gym for at least half an hour *Mon - colleen Nolans DVD......OK so I said minor but its doable with the long hours I am working and I think I need to experience succes

  • Drink at least 2 litres of water

  • Have breakfast

So there we have it.....some would say radical pmsl......so lets see what next week brings.....

It came from out of space.......

Ok so this week I have been obsessed with Torchwood. Which was a bit of a surprise to me to be honest as I am not normally an avid fan.

I think the romantic byline got me hooked to be honest...is it wrong to be so involved with a relationship between two gorgeous men???? hehe.

Anyway whilst watching Torchwood I was not eating so its a win win situation, but it also meant I was not exercising.

All this sci-fi stuff got me thinking about Dr Who in general and the adipose episode......

mmmmm need to get me one of those little men :o)

mind you from what I can recall there were some pretty drastic side effects ...you know you lost the weight but then you ...what was it ....oh yes you died!!!!!
well this week has been a bit hit and miss with the ww. I have not over eaten but I know looking back I have eaten a lot of teh wrong stuff....so weigh in tuesday is going to be a gamble......
*sighs* and its still two months until Keith comes home....it seems like an age. :(

Another one bites the dust....

Thats another wibbly wobbly bit done with so thats 3lbs since I started this and thats a total of 9lbs since Keith went away so technically I have another 19lbs left to lose if I am to lose my 2 stone for keith getting back......mmmmm I wonder thats roughly 2lbs a week....its doable...if i really try,

Well I guess I can only try it can't I.

So first off...did I deserve the loss??? well the trick this time around was being honest with myself. So yes hand on heart I think I deserved a loss, I had walked more eaten less and spent along time this weekend clipping hedges, gardening and cleaning with extra exertion. But in all honesty....had I followed my points I would have lost more. My addiction to ricicles can hardly constitute a healthy diet and there was a severe lack of vegetables unles chocolate counts...

MMM so reality check the exercise was good but if I get the eating properly in check and healthy it means I will lose more....mmmm sounds like a plan.

I so want to lose a good stone before Keith comes back and an increase in fitness would be a bonus.....

The plan then?????? well looks like e-source has come to my rescue cos this week I am going to try the bikini diet http://www.weightwatchers.co.uk/util/art/index_art.aspx?tabnum=1&art_id=38471 it looks like I am on week 1 so tomorrow I am looking at 'the plank' as an exercise.

You know what this actually sounds like it might be fun....ok I dont quite have 12 weeks but I am going to give this a go.....

Its only been a week.......

Well last week I lost two lbs lets hope tomorrow the scales are as forgiving.

Trouble with this weight loss lark is that I suddenly become super critical of the body that I used to tolerate.

I bought a full length mirror a few months ago and since trying to get back on the ww wagon I have found myself viewing my body in various outfits I had previously worn with ignorant abandon. These days I put on clothes look at myself and fling them back into the wardrobe or worse into the charity box.

It results in me taking hours of preening prior to leaving the house .....grrrrr

My muffin top is the current focus of my attention. For those uneducated in weight loss terminology the muffin top (or my personal favourite my dough baby) is the roll of fat that is between your boobs and your tummy.....its is, in my case, large white dimpled and unsightly. It wobbles over the top of my trousers and makes smock tops make me look pregnant. It is the last bit to reduce in size whilst losing weight and is the most unsightly bit of a larger lady in my opinion.

I know reducing my bread intake will help reduce this unsightly wobble, and some exercise may also help....in fact I have looked in my ww magazine and seen some exercises i could do....mmmmmm, and what if I were to get back to the gym.......but would I get there past the full length mirror if I were to put my leotard on???
Oh well fingers crossed for weigh in tomorrow.
