disappointed with myself

I am fed up. Although I had lost the stone required for my birthday forgot to add the extra inches that time of the month added to my boobage :o( hence I was unable to wear THE dress for birthday/parents anniversary meal. Was I wrong to set myself up?

I know that you can't predict weight loss or where the inches are going to fall away but I was so annoyed with the whole dress thing...got really stressed and annoyed with it all even tho I found a black dress I had bought last year which I could not fit into previosly which looked lovely on.

I should have been happy. But instead I was ratty with Keith who only told me the truth about the dress, I was bolshy with my mum when she couldn't pin my boobage into the straining dress...I even cursed the aforementioned boobage even tho for the last 20 years or so it has been my best friend!!!!

I liked myself in the black dress and I know that some day soon THE dress will fit perfectly but I was so disappointed. I think I over ate to compensate too. We went for a meal and I wasn't too cautious with my choices.....and unlike my birthday I have not counted the damage.I have got back on track today but I am really worried about weigh in tomorrow but I will face my fears and step on with my head held high.

Apart from the brief downer I had a lovely weekend with my family and Keith, and I can't wait until next weekend when we are off up to scotland. I am intending to point for teh weekend but I also intend to do some exercise to counter act any excesses I may feel the need to embrace lol!

Only three weeks until the walk , I am beginning to worry a little now .....mmmmmm baby steps :o)

studying munchies.......

Well I managed to avoid the studying munchies today.

I remember when I did my GCSE's I used to study in the garden.....I would study in the morning then walk to the shop as my folks had told me exercise and a break would stimulate my brain. I always walked my dog to local shop and picked up something nice as a treat for the afternoon study. Only now do I allow myself to recall how I used to pick up the large family packs of maltesers or revels and I would consume this in the afternoon every afternoon whilst I revised. Not only that but my mum and dad would feed melots of nice big wholesome meals usually with a pudding to help me cos I was studying so hard. :o)

Well I did taht throughout my GCSE's....oh yes and now I think of it our ice cream man came round every night and I used to be so impressed becuase he knew my sister and I by name.....now I think it was because we saw him every night.....ice cream treats or 10p mixes i was always there :o(. And then 2 years of studying for my A levels...and the invention of giant cadburys buttons.....OMG I can't imagine how many points I ate those days no wonder I was in a size 22 skirt from evans for my headmasters sherry party for leavers.....I was mortified :o(

Uni was a little better...it was teh first time I realised that most people had a snack type lunch and then a large meal at night rather than a big meal for both. I was on school dinners prior to that and it was chips with everything, and then home to a big meal at night. I am lucky as my family was the type of family that sat and ate tea together, and I am pleased about that, but wish I had had less as part of my school meal.

Well my MSc is here and another load of study but, despite the increase in pressure due to living alone and this time it actually counting for something and me actually paying for it , well this time I am being aware of my eating habits whilst studying.

Today I had a deadline and my fridge was stocked with no point jelly and low point snacks.....actually I did not need them as have gorged self on jar of baby beetroot....oh I will have pink pee tonight lol

maybe the ww habits are finally making sense lol

Oh, and I promised to post a pic of my mum as a beautiful bride, I have found a lovely one of my mum and dad caught off guard...they are such lovely people and I don't think that 40 years of marriage have changed them that much......that being said I need to think about dealing with the next weight loss hurdle which is their wedding anniversary dinner on saturday :o)
